Classroom events
Classroom events can cover many different audiences and topics.
Events take place at the premises of your choice – we will travel to you.
We cover the whole of the UK.
If you already have training courses developed we are happy to present them on your behalf, otherwise we can work together to produce a course to fit your needs.
Here are just a few ideas:
- New staff induction and onboarding - learning all about your business culture, expectations, products and procedures;
- Sales training - qualification, negotiation, closing, self-motivation, time management, resilience, behaviours and attitude, communication skills (face-to-face, telephone and written);
- Customer service training - understanding customers and giving the best possible experience, whether in person, over the telephone, or through written communication;
- Management training - creating and maintaining effective teams, coaching skills, organisation and time management, difficult conversations, performance management; constructive feedback, presentation skills;
- Software and systems training.
In these difficult times eLearning has really come into its own, allowing for learning and development while respecting distance restrictions.
It is a versatile and effective alternative to classroom work, with many plus points: the learner works at their own pace; there is no travel or hotel expense; feedback is built-in to eLearning so management can see who’s completed what and their level of success.
Please don’t mistake our eLearning for screen after screen of boring information. Our eLearning is interactive, engaging and effective.
eLearning courses and videos are developed using Camtasia© and Articulate 360©, and are fully compatible with Learning Management Systems. They can include both formative and summative assessments.
Here are just a few ideas:
- Learning needs analysis - aptitude testing (for example software simulation or quizzes), gap analysis, behavioural assumptions;
- Knowledge - processes, procedures, product expertise;
- New information and refreshers;
- Skills and behaviours - expectations, definitions, introduction and reminders (supported with other techniques such as Zoom, Skype or Webinar meetings);
- Software and system training - using simulation techniques software can be demonstrated and then the learner can practice in safe and guided conditions.
blended learning
Encompassing many different learning techniques, blended solutions are often the most effective for larger projects or those with learners of varying abilities or preferences.
Combining methods leads to greater flexibility, both for learners and managers.
Here are just a few ideas:
- Live events for kick-offs or project go-live;
- Live events for team working, interactions and role play;
- eLearning for knowledge and introducing skills;
- Audio for learning on the move that can be used and repeated at any time;
- Video for short, effective 'how-to' modules, topic introductions and refreshers, demonstrations or confirmation of previously detailed topics;
- eLearning for quizzes and assessments;
- Web-based seminars for discussions, feedback, consolidation;
- Meeting sessions for consolidation, workshops, and embedding new information;
- Workbooks for programme plans and self-directed learning with guided research;
- User guides for ongoing reference - these may be in the form of detailed, step-by-step instructions or quick guides and flashcards;
- Gamification to incorporate competition, team work and reward into the learning experience.
